It begin with a very volcanic trail among ancient lava flows and the typical vegetation of Etna, until to reach the south-east side of the Valle del Bove. During the summer or walking on the snow it always a great emotion going along the crest, here our guide will explain some geological phenomena that originate the incredible valley. But this is only the begin, because the adventure has just begun!

The top crater tour include the ascend with special jeeps equipped for extreme off-road until 2800 meter of altitude, where you will see landscapes very similar like lunar. On board you will enjoy spectacular sea views, while the jeep climb up along a lava trail from 1800 until 3000 meter. Here the vehicle will stops and begin the walk. To reach the central crater you will have to walk for 2 hours around, climbing for 340 meter on your feet. The descend can be made with the jeep or walking and jumping along a volcanic canal made of pyroclastic ash, until to Piano Provenzana station.
